31 July unit. There's still considerable sign of the fire (Aug, 1952) &
many chanel trees remain + some deadstanding
timber or some live Ponkros+ Offray Pins. The
Whid.thorn (Ceanothus ) gets in patches to
6' high v io murder to walk through. I also saw some
Squar Caget (Ceanothus ). The Tons Burn took
~5000 acres + much was re-seeded by For Service. Also
some of the burn is too low for Foxg &
+ some of the higher elev. (4200+) are devoid
of brush, Nonetheless there are other spots near
where I called it that should be good for Fox &.
Saw in W cell again 1200-1300 - got 5 Fox &'s & /Suu.
