This area is a composite of broken forest + Careothus patches of varying extent & density. The brush is <= 4' + of the thorny [Careothus] sp. The topography is mostly flat - seen no evidence of frost burn; some v. large stumps remain from logging activities. There are some large conifers but generally the trees do not appear mature. Towards Page (Paige) Meadow there's small area of Salix + Populus.
