Forest Campground) 1 block turn right on Tahoe Park Hts to top of hill to: Big Pine Driv for about 3 blocks to Silver Tig Dr. I go [illegible] on Silver T[g Dr., for about 6 blocks - turns at dirt rd. goes around barrier ? elev. 6500-6700 (altitude suspect as it read 6120 at L.Tahoe + should have been 6225). not to scale T.15N, R.16E, DNE 1/4sec. 1) Page meadows 6700' 2mi. x 1 mi. open grassy meadow semi-stony h2o major col. tar dirt rd. p.m. 19 July 15816 locality? rough terrain (2 Pine land?) This area is a composite of broken forest + Careothus patches of varying extent & density. The brush is <= 4' + of the thorny [Careothus] sp. The topography is mostly flat - seen no evidence of frost burn; some v. large stumps remain from logging activities. There are some large conifers but generally the trees do not appear mature. Towards Page (Paige) Meadow there's small area of Salix + Populus.
