Sierra Nat. Forest, Mariposa Co., California

The road goes cont. down to North Fork (N228S).
From there went to Aubery + from there to Shore
Lake. The area around North Fork (*from
mile high center down South) is chaparral (San
Escrub Jay & Caly, Quail, 3/4 Mmmy deer.) From
Aubery, the road climbs again + encounters forest.
At Shore Lake called [illegible] Coors + informed him
didle collecting in area. He suggested W of Huntington
L. + Edison Util. Co. have a big campground on W side of Shore Lake, open
Memorial Day - October - 1/2 to Hot showers. At picnic
grids heard 2 Fox Sparrows singing in marguina
capped near Shore Dam.
