R.M. Zink 1979 Journal Cedar Pass, 1830m, Modoc Co., Calif. 30 July (Wed) or camp. The slopes on S side of road looked like great Foxg habitat but I heard a saw o evening of 29 + a.m. of 30th, beside 3 hrs. I hiking - these the only Foxg signors were the 2 coll. yesterday + one heard "chinking". The brushy hillside has the following habitat - brush/tree, tobacco bush patches, Artemisia mostly higher, Prunus stands, scattered Pines + scattered Abies concolor + Yellow Pine. Birds Seen 29-30 July, Cedar Pass, 1830m, Modoc Co., Calif. Red-tail 1 over stream + brush Shiny-shinned Hawk 1 ? brushy hillside of conifers Ced. Quetzal 6 family 2 mi.
