R,M,Zink 1979 Journal (T.8N, R.22 E) Monok, to 3 mi. E Mineral Mtn., 8000-8200ft. Alginia, Calif. 15 July cont Woodlands. We cut W on rd. just outside of Walker + had a spectacular rili. Found some brushy areas but didnt find any Fox Sp. until I me get to Rock Station, end of rd. Got 2 before quitting. Saw 1 Coyote on brushy hillside. The tops of several hills are brush covered + the main one I hunted looked : Sage Sage + Int. Mahagony cleanthin Pines scattered Tobacco brush Pines + fir + tree scale level sage < 1/2 ft. 16 July Hunted early a.m. + got 37+1 deer. I worked the area atop a hill of area of tobacco brush, Pines + scttered As dense asfen + pinefin (mostly fir). After aking tissues, went back to area on same hill which is covered w/ Int. Mahagony + coll. 3 birds. In evening, hunted hill tops + brushy areas 4 mi. E of Mineral Mtn. Deer Hill Rock Station x camp hunted p.m. 16th + a.m. 17th Walker
