This is part of same burn. Many snags - standing & fallen.
Chaparral is predominantly Elderberry & some Rizes. The
area is reached by taking rd. behind Rhys Campground
which goes along a ridge. Took tissues healed elk,
Bleella forest supplies - At Lake Isabella saw 10-15
California Gull + a Phamopepla. Returned on Hvy.105-
to Tiger Flat Campground (T.205, R.32 E, SW4sec.5) + spent
dk afternoon + p.m. [ At Isabella - several campgrounds, some w/ cold
showers. At young Lk. Isabella three nestbox + saw at 9:00 ]
16 June
Departed Tiger Flat & went N through pin-fir-incense. Looked
above 5500'. Went to Johnsonville - but mostly deserted as
the lumber Co. pulled out. After n., N of Tiger Flat ran
into some nice typical montane chaparral of manzanita,
Amphiza + Edg forests, snowys. Note - this appears
