M. Zink 1978 Journal Stanislaus Nat. Forest, Tuolumne Co., California, on Cottonwood Rd.- from 20-30 mi E of Tuolumne City 28 May (cont) Proceeded on Cottonwood Rd. towards Cherry Lake, looking for burn area that Vincent Dora told me about. Following localities visited today. Reynolds Creek Cottonwood Rd stream 1.0 mi 0845 X Camped night 27 May 0600-0730 3.2 mi. Start of burn area 0900-0940 - 6b, - sm. brook, live trees, min-oasis 1.5 mi. collected here 10.00-19.00 roughly burn area 4.5 28 May camped on side of Parus gambel: root id. 1920- 1.5 mi Rd to Hwy 120 (<= 24 mi.) blacktop Cherry Lake (31 mi. from Tuolumne) camp grounds. The forest is pretty dense until the burn area. This area was burned apparently 4-5 yrs ago. There
