Took Zoo 113 Field Trix this AM 8:15 -
9:15 AM. (Still arriving at 9:15 am so
we went home.) During rain & over
breaks in rain saw a few birds too.
About 10 flocks for a total of 400+
Warblers flying over - generally
North to South - for what the direction
is worth. Saw a few Robins, 2 Song
Sparrow, 1 Junco, 1 Brown Thrasher,
1 [illegible]
(my first or second)
Red Breasted (singing & flying over), 2+
Anna's Hummingbirds.
Bewick's Wren, 1 Canyon Wren, 1
Brown Creeper Warbler (singing only), 2 Tree
Swallows, 1 Cdn. Quail, + heard 2 or 3
Cowbirds. Would have been a good day
if rain had stopped - sun out about
9:30 am but occasional briefening shade
or overcast during rest of morning back
in Berkeley.
