A.C. Ziegler 1960 Touana 22 June Set Dungeness & Greywolf rivers 800' ft. (S.30, T.29N, R.3W), Chas. Wark Camped at this locality at Dungeness Forks campground. Saw many mole runs around camp. I set 5 barher traps in the mole runs with no luck. Arqar set 2 mole traps with similar results. I set 7 mus spce's & 3 rat traps along river bank & also under the thick "Boston ferns" 10-15 ft. from river. Dr. Q. set 25 Sherman traps along other side of river & in brush. Mc set 16 mus spce's in grass & fairly bushy area beside stream. Mc also set 20 Shermons in woods. Mc got a sorex powerbset(?) about 400 & at 2200 I ran my traps & had 2 P. maniculatus & 1 Sorex palustris, mice running over sleeping bag in camp during night. Camp here fairly good - outhouse having tables, concrete fireplaces, & water in river. No charge since is near for Campers 23 June Ran traps at 0500, I got 5 P. maniculatus only, Arqar got 5 also. Mc got 5 P. maniculatus & 3 Zapus in his snag from 17 - " " in his 20 Sherman's. Total for last 3 localities for party: P. maniculatus (others?) - 47 Clethrionomys - 1 Zapus - 4 Scapanus - 1 Sorex Trowbridgei - 2 Sorex bendrei(?) - 1 " Palustris - #1
