Rant Rooks at 0500-0600 + got 241 each of 2 kinds Perognathus in both years, In like years got several of [illegible] 2 Perognathus* and several Perognathus maniculatus thistles got sucker again from near same spot. It flew well - did not seem to be trying to fall even tho weather was cold & very windy. Photo taken 0600 looking NE showing Sherman live reading area. Dr Quay good Perognathus (sp?) Perognathus maniculatus + also 2 D.A.O's (so?). I found a small low deer Citherines (
