A.C. Zeelee 1960 JOURNEY \n# mi. (by road) NW Luceane (Mine-tunnels) Lake Co, Calif. 3 Apr. Arrived here 1400+ & looked in 2 mine tunnels. Looked in damp parts of tunnels for A. flavipunctatus & got following: Corynorhinae saw 1 - couldn't get good Diadormis amabilis 2 giant rois only 1 caught - legs sunning in front Mine entrance. Across Flavipunctatus 1as, 2 young " " Lugubris 1 yo. Butto boteras 1 oo Hyla regina 1 \nLeft at 1500+ & arrived Beucher 1830+ \n1/2 mi. SW Cameron, 3900' ft., Kern Co., Calif. 15. Apr. Left Beucher at 0930 with Dr & Mrs Quay & are's above locally about 1800. Drove past Monolith about 3 or 4 mi. & cut right off highway over RR yards & went up a bluetop road for about 1/2 mi. (site of Cameron is approximately at Ter. of these roads) & camped. Set out 20 mus. Speexy's rat teeth in wash beside road & also 25 small shearmans on hillside beside road. Picked up domestic cat still beside road. Flushed a short- winged ratfads - colored goatsucker
