Drove north on coast highway stopping briefly at Cascade Creek (1/4 mi. S Cascads)
but area did not seem to have Rhacophoron. Fungi common. Drove
N to Noyo & cut east on state highway 20. 17 mi. West of Willits stopping
& working wet woods & downed logs beside road from 0900 - 1000+. Got:
Barrenococcus attenuatus 20+
Ensatina eschscholtzi - 1 "close to
Angioes ferecus - 2
Thamnophis elegans - 1
Commons fungi & beetles. Saw a
Hydra.

Reached here about 1045 & stayed
an hour. Wet woods, deep stream & marshy open dry slopes. Area within
100 yards of Bridge Woods. Got:
