searches were pairs or not. As far
as I know no photos were taken after
whale was blown ashore. Fore-pair of
teeth stuck up above gum a couple of
inches but rear teeth (at least the
left - the only one looked at) were
visible at gum line but flush
with the gum - searched for vestigial
teeth before & after boiling but found
none. No bristle notice on skull. Mr.
Dale W. Rice of Fish & Wildlife Service gave
following info, meat's & skeleton ss.

["back" = 10% total length in front of dorsal fin
"belly" = few ft. anterior to genital opening
"side" = opposite "belly" measuring spot]
Parasites: Conchocoma aurium - many
on anterior teeth (all collection)
Cymids - few scattered on body; many
