Perognathus penmosus
4.2 mi., # (by road) S Stoveum Pass, 4200 ft, Nye Co, Nevada:
June 30 Dr. Quin took 2 in five years in open sandy-gravel with only a few sagebrushes 10-15 ft apart. P. longimembris + J.DD.
MORZIANI were assoc's animals.
This Perognathus resembles P. penmosus somewhat but has a longer tail with quite a bit of hair on it. All the mammals from this locality seem dark -
