Mar.22 Fairly common at both localities but only on the higher, relatively open sage &
grass or "Chamise" & base-feeding slopes, not found in the lower, very brushy areas where Peromyscus truei is fairly common.
Of 200 I took only 1 snowshoe crab. Tissues of both two averages 5x9 mm. 1 F though
had rather "old" uterine scales & was not lactating.
