H.C.Biebler 1959 Ctenus lateralis Aug 18 thru 20 Burr Creek, 4300' ft. & Mt. S Chester, Almeda Co. Calif. Very common - Perhaps 20 within 50 yds of camp. - Youngish + adults. Seen to prefer Aricorts to Orunds on traps. One young caught along marsh seagrate but others sticking to dry hillsides. Out of about [illegible] caught so far only 7 have been ov. Adam Clark is a shark "peel". Sept 10 + 11 Sadora Pass, 9625' ft., Tulame Co. California Fairly common in wooded areas here along with a Centruus sp., Brachys corocoroe butamis + a few Scirpus scoueri. C. berlandi fairly common in meadows & open ground.
