Put up a SHADDO which had been a captive at home. Found dead in cage - Perhaps from lack of water for 8 or 10 hours - Plenty of meat left in cage. Ate beef, pork, chicken, potatoes and dead mice with equal zestish. Testes enlarged (3x4mm). Anal glands not obvious. No musty odor to body.

Feb.14 A ♀ showed testes 1½x2 mm. No musty odor. Anal glands not obvious. Tail tip had been lost before animal was trapped.

1 ♀ dead in live trap of W.B. Quay. See 3x5,in. card in this Journal, this date, for ecological, etc. data. Specimen's uterine horns appeared enlarged (almost 2 mm in o.d.) but no emb's or scars noted. No "placenta" or mars nor lactation either so may not have been post-partum.
No anal glands or ooze evident. Acc # 135-7

1♀,2♂ from marsh, Anal glands of ♀'s evident (a little smaller than testes) but no ooze noticed. Epid. tubules evident & ♀'s uterine horns were enlarged. # 1401 & 1402 same trapno. # 1403 dead in live trap
