A.C. Zibane 1959 Journal July 16 Comman California Coast, California. Visited Golden Gate Fishing Co. at 9:30 PM They had a 60' ft. Finback, 6 ft. Emb. Sawo Auditory Bullae of both + some other parts for MVB. A block away the Del Monte Fishing Co. had just finished a whale & were getting in 4 more finbacks starting at 2 AM July 17. July 18 + 19 San Pablo Creek (salt marsh), Richmond, Contra Costa Co., Calif. Put up 1 Megalotis + 1 R. Parvifissis taken by Geo F. Fisher of MVB on course of his thesis work. See his notes for more data on habitat, trends lines, etc. July 20 Manhattan Mines, 2000' ft. 1½ mi. NW Knoxville, Napa Co., Calif. Put up 1 Myotis + 2 Cogeornhinus taken by Richard E. Graham of MVB. Apparently these were only bats seen. Did also trap a Pelony. Adult + young (?) + Citellus recently in vicinity of mines. There are apparently 20 - 40 shafts or Tunnels in this immediate area - all known as Manhattan Mines. Not in use now. See Gramams notes for more data. 1 Cogeornhinus will be kept for personal comp. but Myotis + other Cog., will be added to the Parasiticous (Graham's #') & Accis for MVB.
