A.C. Ziesse 1957 Journal Aug. 31 SAPAN Ranch, 3400ft., 3 Mi. E Montgomer Co. Po, Sheetrock, Com. Complete locality is SW corner, Sec. 34, T. 35N, R. 1E, A small white development by Mr. Gower C. Supan + stocked with trout for fisherman. Is adjacent by a dirt road used partly by Ralph L. Smith lumber Co. And cutting off Hiway 299 about a hour mile west of Hillcrest Fire (Canyons) Sta. "3 Mi. E" is airline map distance, but true is from Mr. Supan. Set out 50 mus race's + 3 rat traps in Maple - DOGWOOD - OAKS (?) - under thicket + also in Microrus(?) dens in tank grass + scots around lake. Set same kind of line around a much smaller hole N 50 yards of bigger one. Colored A Bigger snake at 5:00 PM in mouse trap on thicket by hand. Also caught by hand an greater lizard at 6:00 pm beside small lake and 3 jagicha in the small white. These 3 were fainted large - smaller were seen but could not be caught. Shot at large + small rats at twilight + got 1 Epiericus . Also put up 4 Microrus from above first preserved with form. min. methylen Sept. 1 Ran roads at 8:00 Am. Got 3 Acemyscus + 5 Microrus spr. in thicket + around big lake, 1 more Acemyscus Maniculatus enter in yard, in roads alongs small lake got Microrus
