Rock in creek & 8 or 9 more Gillow Salmon
Dare under rocks in stream or sitting in
wont on creek bottom. Got a Trichia
swimming in pool in creek below
bridge. Dr. B. shot another bat (Labyrinthus) this
AM.
Aug.25 Ran all years twice before noon. Got
Nogoma viverra in Schnyker, 2 Micratus
— 1 in wet bushy spot along stream &
1 in sunny in meadow willows. 2 Caturus
in rat years on log on dry hillside & 1
in mus spr beside pool. (2 of these were
saw a Thammanis on rocks in stream today,
discarded.) Put up specimens, shifted
Carnivora's around to new spots — some
on wooded shade in grassy lots — but got
no more Thomannus. Arrived & left at
3 PM. About noon or 1:00 PM 2 fellows
came in a pick-up truck & were apparent
looking over the chrome ore situation
also. Driving out Dr. B. shot a young
Citinus lateranis & shot at another near
a spot canoso Scarpentine bar 3 or 4
miles from our camp. He also shot a
Sown Geese on the road. We had a young
one for supper last PM. Dr. B. shot has
seen Juncos, a Brown Creeper, heard Robin,
Nuthatch. Last PM at twilight saw a large
owl way up flying along & could just see
