A.C.Bree 1958 Peromyscus keenicus 1/4 mi. N 1/2 mile E Avaana, 2300+ft., River's of Co. Park, Sept.14. Taken rather sparingly at all 3 local's. Traps around Avaana.- Found along with Peromyscus maniculatus and no habitat diff's in the 2 species could be observed. I was noticed to have a bit about mouth stain magenta - probably from eating the fruit of Opuntia (?) which was very abundant in area.
