A.C. Zicour 1958 Diadomys hegemanni 12 mi. SE (by road) Aricines, San Benito Co., Calif. Jan 31 Dr Quay took 2 animals that to be this sacrier on gravelly soil among Artemisia and other bushes. Holes 1/2 or 2 in. in dia. noted in dirt to gravel soil but only I had frozen dirt in front of it. Dr Q also took 1 Peromyscus maniculatus & 1 Reithro, in this area. I got P. maniculatus, Reithrod's, Neotoma leucodon & 3 Thomomys, Brite moon last night & down close to freezing. Panoche Creek, 550' ft., Fresno Co., California Jan 29 Aug 19 1 ♀ taken Jan 29, 1958 by Dr Lewin had enlarged mammary glands mammary tissue & 2 Rt, 2 Lt. scars.
