A.C. Z. Cole 1948 Drosophyis Dorkis Scissors Crossing, East Navajo Valley San Diego Co. Calif. Sept. 10 only taken in small when - man x Diro; megerami were two. This was with no emb's. 5-10cm while moderate to fec. Also fairly large, darker & longer males. Sino Tonto Valley 4625'ft San Diego Co. California Sept. 12 Park took several at this location along with Aegon, mancusculus & thamanus botte. Most were young but 1 adult f was close to term. 3/4 mi. W Manzanita 3600'ft. McCain Valley San Diego Co. Calif. Sept. 13 Several taken by party on the sand + graven slopes with oak shrubs, manzanita & clumps of some composite. Open spaces between stands of vegetation might average about 6' in diameter. Ground fairly soft - pretty firm to hold up a borrow in it. Dixo megerami seems to be absent from this valley. Other mounts taken with ables were Aegon, longimans Dryanones and Pesamydus moniculus. 1/4 mi. N 1/2 mi. E Aguana 2300'ft. Riverside Co. California Sept. 14 A few taken at the 3 localities around Aguana.
