A.C.ZIEBNER 1948 Personnames Fawnex (1) Scissors Crossing, Castorquale Valley, Sandicold, Davis Co. Sep. 10 Took a 3 or 4 lb of this animal at crossing Y at 3 1/4 mi. S, 2 1/4 mi. E Scissors Crossing. So was a relatively scarce animal. Tail seems also too long & body has long white spiny hairs on rump. Dr. Benson says, compared to Caniformis Rumors has softer rumpling (can't harow be felt at a touch) and has a shorter ear (9-10mm compared to 11+ mm for caniformis.) (see next page)
