Scissors Crossing, Castorquale Valley, Sandicold, Davis Co.
Sep. 10 Took a 3 or 4 lb of this animal at crossing
Y at 3 1/4 mi. S, 2 1/4 mi. E Scissors Crossing. So
was a relatively scarce animal. Tail
seems also too long & body has long
white spiny hairs on rump.
Dr. Benson says, compared to Caniformis
Rumors has softer rumpling (can't
harow be felt at a touch) and
has a shorter ear (9-10mm compared
to 11+ mm for caniformis.)
