R.C. Ziccone 1958 Thomas Bobbitt 3/4 mi. N Mantamita, 3600 ft., McEwen Ranch, San Diego Co. Sept. 13 (cont'd) A brief search at the fence after horse pastures further back from road. Made 5 sets & got only 1 animal curve. Runs about 8" to 12" below the surface & rather sharp in dia. Diet mounded up by gashers was discolored so it was hard to tell if worm was were 1 day or 1 week old. Gasher covered was rather sharp. Ground, even when damp, did not seem too hard. Pasture not as hard as the gasher. Soil no wet tro, might weaken it considerably.
