Sept. 14 Lichanwa in late afternoon at 1300

Out teens. It was dark above and
Orpinal(?) with its head to ground.
Did not seem to know I was even close
to it. Got a Sylvanus D.O.P. near
town of Agvanas (=1/2 mi. NE Agvanas 2100'ft.)
when preparing to
get sides. Saw another, crushed too
badly to save, or pass also. Ground
in dark hockwires sandy with sign
of many recent burrows, especially mongo.
