Sept. 13 (cont'd) Dipodomys perotis — 12 Pezomyscus (boylei?) — 1 " " (californicus?) — 1 " " gemmeus — 1 " " moniliculus — 15 Oryzomys torridus — 1 Neotoma lepida — 1 Reckso left at 1:30 PM. Drive to: 1¼ mi. N, ⅓ mi. E Aguunas, 2300± ft., Riverside Co. California Sept. 13/14 Camp set beside "BM 2331" as shown on Corps of Eng. topo Palomar Mtn. quad. (edition of) 1942. Set traps around comp and at two other locations nearby: ¼ mi. ENE Aguunas, 250± ft., and 1 mi. SE Aguunas, 2150± ft.; Riverside Co. California. Saw 2 bass at dusk but too far away to get near to them. Also saw 3 large owls over wheat stubble field below comp. after dark. Traps began working in late dusk so we had one change at night & again next AM. Caught largely Pecos foxes around comp. Vegetation Opuntia (?), Yucca, & stiff high broad leaved shrub. 1 photo taken looking W. near camp where Pecos, foxes were common. Caught a—
