A.C.Zeebe 1958 Journal 1 mi. W Bolinas P.O., 120' ft, Marin Co., California June 21 (cont'd) Mounds. I or sets was in a definite Catcher run but other may have been mole workings since funnel was only a little over an inch in O.D. Set out about 45 mus specs baited with walnuts along creek back of house. Traps set about 15 to 20 ft apart in the thick blackberry, notice vine covering. also saw some fresh mole workings in sandy soil along creek. Mounds in fields (where I did not set) seemed old & dry. WM Hamilton has lost 10 ducks (kept in screen cage out back) to wild house cats (probably) of which at least 4 diff. one's have been seen (I m. O'Dwyer nursing). Bill saw coon tracks along stream & an old mace said deer passed the same back of our house. We did see two very small bucks in velvet along road to Phonsien Nursery about 2 min. (?) of house a couple of days ago. June 22 Ran traps at 8 AM + got 5 micsbors, 1 Thomson's, 3 Sarek Trow Bridger & 1 Navarro- dickus. Put up all except 3 micsbors
