Biddle 1957 Noroma Creek End Vanney Gravo Sta., T. 14N, R. 4E, Sec. 23, Deer Wold Co, South Dakota Aug 25 I found in scrubby near bank with Prunus & squirrel meat in front yard on bank. 3 ft from creek and under a thin beam. I saw of 8-10 ft high shrubs. No indication of houses but Dr. Benson said he saw some piling of sticks which was possible work at a wood raft. Poker Flat, 5000ft, 12 mi NW Hardy Camp, Siskiyou Co, Cal. Aug 28 I caught in scrubby under end of a big log on Prunus mouse body. Sort of a skull over to Arizona. Log was only dry forested shore not close to any rock outcroppings. Aug 29 I at base of a large conifer on bird body among in a scrubby. Skull cleaving so not saves. Site was among trees but open, sunny. 50 ft away was a dirt & rock place with Noroma burrows & only a few shrubs.
