A.C.Bicker 1957 Eupomias speciosus 4300' ft. But (read) & Mr. S Chester, Pumas by Chance. Sept 3-5 Dr Benson took 2 of 3 in Mrs Base's own Dry conifer slope with Fernow logs. 1 or 2 seen about camp. I saw only about 1 on the 4th between 8:00 am & noon in live yeaon dry shade but caught no others. Animals are quite copper-colored on sides — appearing quite bright in color when seen. Citomus laevis seem more common, or at least more obvious, around our camp. Live yeasons Eupomias Bros back to Bickery as native. (Ac 490)
