A.C.Zimmer 1957 SOUTH NEWBERGAS Butt Creek & mts outside, Plumas Co., Calif. Y300+ft. Sept.4 I see it in live year oaks bush one day slope with conifers & fallen logs but little litter or humus. Dec.12 Only 1 taken - this just below Dam on edge of rock in bunchgrass field. Bunch grass very thick - forming solid cover in many places here below the dam. Oct.29 I taken in valley today - mixed with a bunch of S. vagrans so I don't know exactly what sat it came from but it had to be from wet ground in or around bunch- and sawgrass clumps.
