A.C. BEARD 1957 JOURNAL But Creek, 8 M.I.S Chester, Phineas Co Camp, Sept. 3. 4:30 PM. f Got a Myotis myotis. Saw year old wood by Porcupine(?) & several cankers f many Willows cut down by Beaver. SEPT. 4 Ran Mews at 7:30 AM. Nothing in Schuyler's, 1 Gopher in Meadowes, Peromyscus maniculatus in about half of Live Yards and also 1 Soxix Neobarotus (Opos). In Mus Speis that years got only 1 Water Shrew & 2 P. Manicula. For 10 years Spring - Especially near Camp, Cool Patoto Camp lost Nite from Years. Ran Years at 11:00 AM - Got only 3 Citellus Lagreas in Schuyler's & 2 Peromyscus maniculatus Live in same Years that can not same Species Lost Nite. Where 2 also Revered, Ran Live Yards got some(?) two Peromyscus In Some Two Yards at 12:45 AM, Also 2 more Citellus Lagreas in Schuyler's. At 3:45 AM Got CITELLUS BEVERINI in Schuyler's. Ran Live Yards & Schuyler's at 7:30 PM. Got away one of 10 of same 2 Peromyscus in same Live Years. Shot at Bats at Twilight & got a Lasionycteris Set out about 15-20 Mus Speis in Open Meadow Just 50 Yds Down Stream from My Set at 70° (In Willows State just Back of Camp.) Ran Years at 11:30 PM. No Gophers, Nothing in Schuyler's, a few Peromyscus in Live Yards. Got 2 Micrus 1 Neobarotus, & 1 Peromyscus in 70° Mus Speis getting Camp. In Mus Speis set in Open Meadow got 1°
