Fires are permitted only in designated stoves and fireplaces and never on the ground. Natural scenery, plant and animal life receive full protection for the enjoyment of all visitors. Dead and down wood produces humus and is essential for other plant growth. A "cleared appearance" of the undergrowth would destroy the natural aspects of the park. Fuel is sold at park headquarters. Gathering of firewood is prohibited. Feeding of deer is discouraged. Unnatural foods are detrimental to their health. All refuse must be placed in designated containers. Don't be a litterbug.
