May 5 Willowcat Canyon, Contra Costa Co., Calif.
11:40 saw -> in 20 ft high live oak [illegible] feeding + flitting then flew down to top of oaks.
Black throat, 2 breast stripes & black stripe thru crown.
Song w/ry "TSEET TSEET TSEET TSET EKO TSEET" more or less on 1 pitch,
not too loud, if low AM for 2 or 3 minutes of flitting + feeding.)
Last note seems to rise a little in some songs.
Whole song rather thin & not too loud,
