Feb 11 Wren Tit (Chamisa fasciata) 9:10 AM - Saw 2 Wren Tits & Brown Jays above road working thru [illegible] in bushes near around (3' high). No calls, slow movements out quick flits to next bush. Tail held rather high above back. White eye not noticeable. At 30', Tit called or sang some kind of buzz - not too long (2 or 3 sec's) Short (1/2 sec) Mssst-like buzz given by birds when seen feeding, 10 min's later. 9:30 AM - Song of Wren Tit At 9:10 AM chip-chip-chip etc starting slow but "accelerating" & running together towards end. Nearly same pitch - duration 2-3 sec's 9:45 AM - Tit canning (buzzing) from sage oak with flock of brush tits.
