(Kyoto) (Oxycan's No.1 Base) [illegible] The first time I saw the film, I was in Tokyo. I remember it was around 1980 or so. It was a very dark room, with only one small light bulb hanging from the ceiling. There were no seats, just some stools lined up against the wall. The screen was huge and took up almost all of the front wall. I don't remember exactly what kind of film it was, but I think it might have been a horror movie. The sound system was terrible, with lots of static and crackling noises. But somehow, I still managed to enjoy watching it. Maybe it was because the atmosphere was so intense and immersive. Or maybe it was just my imagination running wild in that dimly lit room. Anyway, it's been decades since then, but whenever I think about that experience, I can't help but smile. It reminds me of how much we used to love going out to see movies back then. And how different things are today, with all these fancy cinemas and digital projections. But there's something special about those old-school theaters that just can't be replicated anymore. So next time you get a chance to visit Kyoto, make sure to check out one of their classic cinemas. You never know what kind of magic you might discover inside.
