The first time I had to write "I am not going to be here tomorrow" was when my mother told me she would be coming over for dinner. She said that if I didn't come, she wouldn't cook anything special. So I decided to stay home and read a book instead.
Later on, my father came into the room where I was sitting with my book in hand. He asked why I wasn't eating lunch with him as usual. I explained that since Mom said no food would be served until after five o'clock, so we couldn't eat yet anyway because everyone else had already left except for Dad who was still busy working outside.
He then asked what kind of books you like most? To which I replied "Fiction mostly but also non-fiction sometimes depending upon mood." Then he said okay fine let's go play outside together now! And that started our adventure into the world beyond imagination!
So there it is folks - another day spent doing something fun while learning new things along way too!
Best wishes,
Your friend forever!
