with chumps of JUNCUS (?), ground
in those chumps only damp tho
not marshy. Set 50 mus traps
in mile(?) runs among clumps
and on edge of field along road
shoulder (a bank with briars mtn)
in center of most clumps ground
was firmly hard & couldn't
find underground runs - so
traps just set in occasional
open spaces in centers of clumps.
Set out traps at 4:00 PM (Nov.3)
& ran them at 6:00 PM & 9:00 PM
as well as 6:30 AM Nov 4.
