Wolfson 1938 me 27 (cont.) Jumalo Creek, 15 mi. W Bend, 600 ft., Deschutes Co., Ore. The nest and eggs were collected. In the evening set 50 traps about 40 ft. apart along the creek on the NE side and some in a meadow E of the creek. me 28 Left camp at 5:30 a.m. and went to rock slides about 1/4 mile north of camp to try to get some Conys. Watched slides for hour and a half and did not see or hear a Cony. Walked back to camp thru Lodgepole Spruce, Hemlock forest and found: 1 Audubon Warbler; many Chickadees several Juncoes; 5 Pine Siskins; 1 Flicker 3 Chickarees. After reached camp, went out on trap line and found: 1 immature Microtus amongst willows at edge of stream; 1 Microtus rich- ardsii under spruce at stream edge; 1 Crotalus cangeri amongst dead twiles 50 yds from edge of stream. The gopher traps were examined and 1 more Thomomys was obtained on the SW side of stream in the open meadow. In the evening set 50 traps along meadow 33.
