Returned to camp at 8:00 a.m. and
observed birds the remainder of the
day. Around camp the following
birds were recognized: Calliope
Hummingbird 1; Red Crossbill 1;
White-Headed Woodpecker 1; Yellow
Warbler 1; Williamson Sapsucker
1; Red-naped Sapsucker 1.

From the junction where Marks
Creek crossed the road (which
ran N of camp) I covered the area about 1 mi. downstream (This
was the same region traversed as
before.) Along the gravel flats on
the sides of the creek were seen 3
