June 12 Left camp at 6:30 a.m. with A.H.M.
and drove about a mile toward
Marko Creels on the road N of camp.
Stopped at the Troubled and
just as we arrived in this meadow
region I flushed 5 Mule Deer.
No males were seen. Possibly they
cad come down to drinks. During
the course of the morning found
three piles of deer droppings and
two sets of deer tracks. Crossed
the meadow and entered a dense
forest containing Larch, Yellow
Pine, Lodgepole Pine, and Douglas
