Wolfson 1938 76. Lincoln Sparrow June 10. 11 mi. W, 1 mi. S Mitchell, Wheeler Co. Ore. Clev. 4850 ft. One nest in grass about 8 inches tall, about 6 inches from part of stream flow - not main part. Set of 5 eggs - fresh - collected by A.H.M. Several birds seen in riparian habitat amongst willows and alders. June 21 Jumalo Creek, 15 mi. W Bend, 6100 ft., Des- chutes county, Oregon. 7 caught in mouse trap about 3" from nest. Nest among dwarf willows about 4' tall - right on water, but bottom of nest dry. 7 eggs about 1 week old. 7 evidently incubating - was flushed twice previously
