Another chase involving three birds was just
noticed. Again two birds were driven
off by the possessor of the territory. It
seems possible that these birds are
already paired before they try to claim
areas.

One bird heard displaying on the ridge
(steep) near the magnetic station
5 June Barrow, Alaska
Paired birds were seen all along the bird
between Barrow and the Drana.
No groups were noted. These birds seem
relatively common along The Drana
as numerous displaying 88 were seen.
6 June Barrow, Alaska
Pairs of birds were seen just South of
Footprint Lake and along the Northern
shore of Heroovik. None, however, were
seen on the west shore of Heroovik.
