Holmes,R, 1963 35. C. alpina 16 Aug Barrow, Alaska Traveled south past meadow lake - saw 4 Ad RB in flush - & 1 sardine may. - saw 1 Ad + 2 Jnr RB (1 latter collected), 2? RB, 2? RB - at Eirt plut - 3? RB, 6? RB - at south end / C.n - 1 single adult. Three adults + 1 h collected. Here 2 Jnr That we see Today as the first time in the flush for a week - more now. All birds except the one immature that was collected - were feeding in upland situation - all at Arms Bay were to be found in At too many - polygon - situation. The immature was fudner at 2-3 inches (water in a small pool - with Caddisfly larvae). 12 Aug In trip to Oobpil Slope - Reflux - 23 RB As were seen (1,1,1,1,2,1,2,3,1,2,1) - There were Israel groups - as is evidenced above. Mint were found a relatively well drained slope (every run is well now - even all the recent rains). None were collected. A possible record an immature with 2 Ads - near Fort Pils but this could not be verified. 13 Aug Tried sardine - vacant - Brita An - Nw Seen - etc in Brita's Gravel pool - where 2? + 3? adults were seen.
