Holmes,R 1963 E. alpina 26 8 July Barrow, Alaska Nest #6 - gave today - but both adults probably your were nearby. All birds were fine from #7. At #8 - 3 eggs over Peggy - they grow well probably in out tonight. No display activity - brief calls given by 8:30 at nests. In evening - I laid two collected new AAS. - One Hill (5 sec) heard - distance. 9 July Nest #14 + 15 - still being incubated - both adults - attended at each nest. No animal kraffing. But when nests are disturbed They will flush, drain again averse - I My long hill - while near cars more the 3 sec often did not dry off asfe - no fulls did earlier in the scan - experience - several species - successive. One can jump from the air or from the ground to are more disturbance t/r than situation. - I'm not sure if it's limited to some other birds 1 of same specie. 10 July Two wood - 1 aged, dead 2 days old - located - south side / gasoline ridge - Some 1/2 adults taken were collected. On one clear 2:30 seen.
