6 July Barrow, Alaska
I collected & in the northwardly swale
moj today - who was still laying eggs
The mole was present but was not
collected. Mole - burrow at meat glob
7 July Shroud Plot. Birds were thrilling today -
both from the ground & while in flight-
beakery was very infrequent - Trolls were
seen in alarm, & excitement & when my
bird was surprised from feeding site.
No chasing / or courtship activities seen -
Nests 410 - gon - 1 sterile egg present
415 - 4 eggs + 8
14 - 4 eggs + 8
4 - empty - adult was excited nearby
3 - empty - 1 sterile egg
12 - empty - ads nearly exhausted.
8 July Devo Ridge Plot - Nest #16. Found new mole
and I plot a sort slope / moj - a space
mound - granophytes provided 20% core
Deo" came, lasted from minute to half
a minute - so, I watched the nest,
started to incubate. No other birds or
display / any soil was noted.
Nest #5 - was empty - but the adult
were nearby + excited.
