RTH 1963 E. alpina 29 June Barrow, Alaska except the bill was pointing straight foreground. The bell was not gone - The sound could be heard (but a storm wind was also blowing in the wrong direction). So she stepped out of the cup The & took flight - with feet dangling, gave re-re-re-re to the left wings & landed again on a long hill. Not Then flew normally & opened her - not began to feed. No further activity for this pair seen noted today (except a aerial song was heard from Not direction later in the afternoon). There was little display activity at the plot - except for an other-wise, pair. Birds (The species are still scattered at the plot - but there is little aerial activity. 1 July 1 a.m., heard non-garlic ridge - no other seen today - except a pair of bears ridge - where took flight & flew east - out of sight (?) 2 July No display activity noted in inner area.-no bear ridge 3 July Ikravik: Aerial displays today, were not numerous but several were seen/or heard. most aerial (round) calls consisted of the long hill - alone - not accompanied
