21 Aug Barrow,Alaska
was feeding on the north slope. The breed
singly - near the 4 barrels (100ft) + 1 flock
of 5 was found 200 yds - S.W. of the
Fertile Plots - in low-lying polygons ('sip')
Thulep - The birds are still here -
flats in the tundra - adults & immatures
are generally separated.
22 Aug - Dave see - in No. U.A.- Wared - Britton Area.
23 Aug Flock of 13 in the British Gravel Land -
While none were seen yesterday - so
apparently these groups are moving!
A flock of 8 adults was found near the
Wannigan at Shroaik - now there were
many complete flocks - i.e. still had
large block areas on the belly, etc. - I call.
- Also - all were apparently 537. No
flown sun today - but 2 or 3 pairs
were heard S.O. the Wannigan - &
The birds are still - The Tundra.
24 Aug Several lone individuals immatures and
1 flock of 16 were seen on the Gravel (near)
The Point (Halfway). One adult - nearly in
complete fall dress - was collected from near
the flock of immatures.
25 Aug B.R.-C.m-Wold - Eisa-ookpik - gauliz - Green R-
B.R.-AIZ'. The only Dunlin seen today
were in the S. Gashin River area - where
