Holmes,R 1962 Erola alpina 18 Aug Barrow,Alaska To the beach ridge 2 were found feeding in the wet polygon-habitat. The adults seen near Meotis lobe - 3 immatures along Fred Lobo! just south of APACS (collected). 19 Aug Approx. 40 immatures + 1 Adult seen - In ponds along Elson Lagoon - halfway between The Point & The Duck Camp. Most of the imm's were spread out all through the area - but one flock of 12 was noted. The adult was associated with one of the flocks; it was not for wh molt - the black patel being nearly intact. 20 Aug 1 Adult + 1 immature seen together in Britton's Gravel Ponds - The adult was collected. No others were seen - No volt - Volt ment - VOA - Fortymount & East to Gasoline area. 21 Aug Trip to Ootepik & return. Two flocks of immatures found - 168 (3 coll.) - feeding in the wet, low-center polygons & 1410 - Eared & The Fertile Plate - where they were feeding, in dry - low polygon (3/4x). A mixed flock / 4 imm (1 coll.) + 12 Ads (1 coll) was feeding on the "slopes" - in the south side. 1 Wobbly flock - 8-10 Golden Plover were also associated with this flock. One group of 10 - along with 15 Golden Plover
