31 July Three found over 3 Black-bellied
Plowers - feeding in the wet polygon area -
N.E of decomposed magnetic staiti - see
feeding seeds.
One bird was found to probe in
the black moss — probably, after fly larvae.
1 Aug 5 Adults seen in the N. Vth - wet
polygon area - feeding on the low
ridge between pools. No other notes
between Dev - S. and 1 Footprint Lake -
Vth marsh - inset area - Brothers
Area. Also the number in the N.
Vth area has decreased by 4 fold
during the last week. N.W. Demake
seen.
2 Aug None seen in N.E. Vth or inset Area
3 Aug One Adult & with 1 flying immatures -
in wet polygon area S. of Wohlschlag.
Young was feeding in black mud & see
feeding trials & Adult remained on
the low inter-polygonal ridge - feeding
most of time but also keeping a
close eye on me & on the feeding chick.
Every so often - it gave a weak version /
